I’m Lydia. I’m half Irish (even though most of my friends say it doesn’t count because I haven’t lived there) and half English. I have a wonderful, supportive husband who for some reason puts up with me on a daily basis and amazing family and friends. My parents are my heroes and I aim to follow their examples and make them as proud of me as I am of them.

My husband has taught me how to really love and to compromise, my best friend has taught be to be open-minded and embrace my true self and my parents have taught me to be a good person.

My favourite things include rainbows, Harry Potter, books, stars, vodka, bread, heart shaped things, Nutella, talking, camping, dogs, tiny cats, pretty much all cheese except Stilton, The Beatles, purple, pasta, wrestling, Italy, peanut butter, plays, people and peace signs.

My least favourite things include war, violence, peacocks, small spaces, Marmite (auto correct wants this to be termite which I think just proves my point!), wind farms (the actual windmills not the concept), milk, arrogance, cleaning, blisters, odd numbers, Rihanna and being cold.

Hi, thanks for following my blog! And you live in Hampshire! I live in Hampshire! Don’t worry I won’t stalk you – it’s a pretty big county and I’m too lazy to do that anyway.

    • ljbradburn / May 29 2013 11:58 am

Hi, you’re welcome, I am enjoying reading your blog 🙂 haha! Well, you are welcome to stalk me should you wish but i’m afraid it wouldn’t be very exciting and would involve far too many hours at the office and not nearly enough reading so you have probably made the right decision! x

We’ve nominated you for an award this time! The Bouquet of Three. You’ve already got the Sunshine Award, but you deserve the other two as well! The ‘how to’ is at the end of this post:

weekend with lots of exciting thrills 🙂

    • ljbradburn / Aug 3 2013 1:55 pm

Why thank you 🙂 Nice to blog-meet you! Hope you are having a lovely weekend too, I’m off to a fancy dress party tonight so should be good fun x

      • Gray Dawster / Aug 3 2013 2:46 pm

Fancy dress parties are always fun, but keep an open mind as some of the party dwellers may have some rather risqué choices in store 🙂 Well they will if the fancy dress party is anything like some that I have frequented 🙂 lol

I will try sending you an invite to my Space so that if you fancy a journey into the darker edges of our blogosphere you can just call in and explore 🙂 Don’t worry I have a very friendly reader base and the dragons and zombies don’t bite, too hard 🙂 lol

Have fun tonight, it should be a blast 😉

      • Gray Dawster / Aug 3 2013 3:06 pm

I have managed to send you an invite to my Space so hopefully I will see you soon, however there is absolutely no obligation to accept if you are not interested, and I will not be offended either so no problemo 🙂

      • Gray Dawster / Aug 6 2013 9:15 am

I hope that your fancy dress night was
a big success and that your Tuesday is
        a most exciting one Lydia 🙂 🙂
