A list

menabSo many exciting things have happened to me recently that I feel I need to write them all down in order to start processing them, so if this post is even more verbal-diarrhea-ey than usual I apologise!

The first and most exciting was that 3 weeks ago tomorrow I got married to the wonderful man in my life. Yes, that’s right, I decided to spend the rest of my life with Ben because, even though he once hung a wet sheet across my bookshelf to dry, he really is the best and most supportive person in the entire world. I don’t mean it lightly when I say that he has seen me at my worst and stayed by my side. I think he deserves to be presented with, at the very least, a sparkly gold medal and a year’s supply of dairy milk chocolate.

The joint first/second most exciting thing was our honeymoon, it was amazing! If you ever get a chance to go to Rhodes then do. It is a wonderful place full of history and culture and amazing food. I am not exaggerating when I say we put on over a stone in weight between us (most of that was me) in 11 days. If I close my eyes now and imagine Greek salad, bread and gyros it’s like i’m right back there!

The third most exciting thing was that I had the chance to read my little heart out on holiday. I am so very glad that Ben has now become a bookworm, like me, as it meant plenty of time together, relaxing in the sun and reading. I finished Stardust and I Am Pilgrim and read We Are All Beside Ourselves and a chicklit book I can’t remember the title of (and to be honest am a little bit embarrassed that I enjoyed so much). So much book love and so many reviews to write, eeeep!

And last but certainly not least, get this………..Rocky actually acknowledged my presence when we arrived home. He looked my way and everything. He loves me, i’m sure of it.
