Celebrating Kitten style

As a part-time hero of this blog and a full-time kitten about town I think it is only fair that Rocky gets a mention for his birthday. (Before you ask, yes I probably will do this every year).

Rocky has now reached the grand old age of two which, in cat years, would place him well in his teenage rebellion phase! He has navigated the wilderness (the field next to our house), has staked his claim on our sofa, bed, shelves, cushions, blankets, clothes piles and anywhere else he can get his fluffy self and has made his mark as the kitten that annoys all the older cats by stalking them and trying to make “friends” in an aggressive way.

Last year whilst our little Rocket dined on a feast of slightly nicer cat food than he normally gets given we ate some chocolate cake so that we could make sure there was less of it in the world and so less chance he would be poisoned by eating any (you’re welcome Rocky!).

This year, in a bid to be more healthy, I have decided that I will make tuna fish cakes for us and straight-up tuna for Rox. We might even break out the catnip bubbles because we know how to party in our house.
