Time again

Instead of blogging, exercising or generally doing anything useful I spent last week crying. Before you start worrying though nothing was wrong, nothing that is except for the fact that my whole entire world was falling apart, no-one loved me (not even my cat), I wasn’t fond of many people either (especially not my cat) and my whole body was a not-so-little ball of rage, which definitely could have got me sacked from my job if I had said what I was really thinking at any given moment (although the last part is not exclusive to last week, it’s more of a daily occurrence).

I was suffering from PMT – Period Monster Time. Every month (although sometimes I am sure it is more often than that) a tiny, furious monster invades my mind and body and spends at least 3 days pinching me until I cry constantly, hitting my insides until I double up in pain and saying mean things to me and all the people that I love. Even though I can hear her I can’t do anything to stop her, she’s ridiculously unreasonable and terribly impolite.

It is safe to say that she is a bitch. Period Monster that is. Not me.

There are not many advantages to being a man but this is certainly one of them. Huge commiserations, to you and to half the human race. Though we wouldn’t be here if reproductive systems didn”t work the way they do…

Haha! Thanks for your commiserations, it’s not easy being a big bitch every month I can tell you 😉 Although i’m sure it isn’t very nice to be on the receiving end either…….sorry! 😉

I thought I was the only one who couldn’t control the monster. Thanks for making me feel less alone!

      You’re most definitely not alone 🙂 Just remember it isn’t your fault, it’s the monster’s 😉 x
