In proportion

I have a theory….

I have at various points in my life attempted to lose weight, it has been sort-of successful at times (or so the scales say) but has still left me a bit disgruntled when my holiday photographs don’t portray a gazelle-like model, who people are desperate to feed biscuits to. That is when I realised that even when I lose weight I still look the same but in a smaller version, so instead of my double chin disappearing into nothingness my head and chin both get smaller so the overall effect is the same. It brings a new meaning to the phrase ‘in proportion’.

That’s annoying.

Oh, I know what you mean. 😀 At the moment, I’m trying to regain a waistline. Everyone, even my doctor, says it’s impossible as we get older …. well, that was like a red rag to a bull – I don’t like the word ‘impossible’! Don’t bother with dieting, Lydia. Just concentrate on healthy eating in teensy bit smaller proportions. You probably know all that already.

Hi Lydia. I’m sending you a Sunshine Award. You can find it here.

Thank you Lesley, that’s very kind of you 🙂 I’m sure I don’t deserve all these lovely awards but I do love them! xxx
